Counseling Services

Specialized counseling for police, fire, EMS, and dispatch from a retired sergeant and licensed counselor.

A carefully arranged counseling office specifically designed for first responders, shown in photographic realism. A sturdy navy-blue upholstered armchair faces a solid oak desk with a neatly framed professional counseling license and a small metal badge displayed beside it, suggesting law-enforcement experience while preserving anonymity. The room features neutral walls, a simple bookcase with trauma-informed care literature, and a sound machine on a side table, emphasizing privacy. Soft afternoon natural light filters through frosted windows, creating a calm, secure atmosphere with gentle shadows. Captured at eye level with balanced composition and moderate depth of field, the scene feels professional, confidential, and reassuring, without any people present.
A detailed photographic scene of a counseling room tailored for firefighters, paramedics, and law enforcement, without any people. On one wall, three minimalist shadowbox displays hold neutral objects: a small red model fire engine, a simple silver medical star symbol, and a generic metal shield, all without department names or identifying marks. Below them stands a comfortable gray sofa with a soft throw blanket. A subtle floor lamp casts warm, diffused light, enhancing a sense of safety and discretion. The background features heavy, sound-dampening curtains over a window. Shot with a mid-range focal length and moderate depth of field, the composition balances the symbolic objects and the welcoming seating area.

About

What To Expect In Counseling

Sessions are structured, goal-focused, and practical, with secure telehealth for PTSD, burnout, anxiety, and recovery after critical incidents.

I offer both talk therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) sessions. ART utilizes bi-lateral eye stimulation to help reprocess traumatic events.

I currently only offer telehealth as an option.

A serene, private waiting area for a first responder counseling office, photographed with realistic detail. Dark, durable seating benches are arranged along the walls, avoiding personalizing elements, with a low wooden table in the center holding a few carefully selected magazines about wellness and resilience, no faces visible. Frosted glass panels and a solid door emphasize privacy and sound insulation. Soft, indirect ceiling lighting creates an even, gentle illumination with minimal shadows, contributing to a calm, stigma-free atmosphere. Captured at eye level with a wide composition showing the entire space, the scene feels professional, secure, and respectful, clearly dedicated to those who serve in high-stress roles.
